MAY 20, 2012 – May marks the second anniversary of the Gasoline Girls, and some significant growth. While there’ve been a few changes over the last year, one thing remains constant: a passion for our cars and for finding like-minded girls. For this anniversary, we proudly welcomed FIVE official members into the club–more than doubling our official membership!
Allow us to introduce you to these fine ladies.

JESSIE
Jessie is like walking sunshine. We met her at a Girls in the Garage event last summer after she messaged us on Facebook, eager to learn and to get her Falcon on the road–which she can proudly say, now is. Read more about Jessie, here.

JENNIFER
Jennifer is the kind of girl who dives right in and gets the job done. She’s been working on cars for less than a year, yet has accomplished so much. Her award-winning T-Bucket is a show stopper, and her ’51 Plymouth project is sure to be as well! Read more about Jennifer, here

ROCHELLE
If we had a class clown, it would be Rochelle. She keeps everyone in stitches. And on top of that, this girl seriously knows her stuff! Years in service departments have given her a vast range of knowledge. Now she can finally devote her time to her dream car, her ’65 Barracuda! Read more about Rochelle, here!
The Gasoline Girls proudly welcome these ladies into the club!
We also want to acknowledge our amazing participants. While they may not have a plaque in their window yet, we appreciate their contributions and their friendship. Thank you ladies, for being so fantastic and for giving so much to the club! We greatly value you. Read more out them on the Participant Page.

In other news, you may have noticed our website has undergone a major makeover. Cruise around and check it out. Click our logo at the top to get to the home page. And while you’re at it, check out some of our new loot! Like these great women’s tanks.
Men’s shirts are available too, along with new oil rags. We’re currently raising money for our charity demolition derby event (read all about it here)… so pop on over to the Loot Page and make your purchase today (which in turn will help us raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation)!
Sales pitch done!
Thanks again for your continued support and encouragement. This club means a great deal to its members, and we’re thrilled to be able to share it with all our car-lovin’ friends. Here’s to many more growth filled years, both in the learning and the friendship realms, and mostly, to having fun with our beloved cars!
